The Secret to Perfect Cauliflower Gnocchi

The Secret to Perfect Cauliflower Gnocchi

One time, I made @traderjoes cauliflower gnocchi so gooey and gloppy that I had to throw the whole batch away. Who can relate?🤦🏻‍♀️⠀

Well today I am going to share how I make my gnocchi crispy and flavorful and not gooey and gloppy! If you would rather watch me make it, I saved the whole thing to my highlights! ⠀

1. Get your large skillet (I use @lodgecastiron) nice and hot. Add 2 tbsp of EVOO. ⠀

2. Turn the stove to med high heat. Add minced garlic to pan and cook for 30 seconds. Don’t let it burn! ⠀

3. Take the cauliflower gnocchi out of the freezer (not before the pan is hot!) and add to the skillet. Spread out in an even layer and make sure each gnocchi has space. ⠀

4. Don’t touch the gnocchi until the bottom is golden brown. About 3-4 min. Then stir. Add 2 tbsp butter, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste. Let sit for another 2 min or so. Stir ⠀

5. Once most of the sides of the gnocchi are golden brown, take off the heat. Serve with literally anything, and enjoy!⠀

Keys to the perfect #cauliflowergnocchi:⠀
🔑keep the gnocchi in the freezer until your pan is hot ⠀
🔑do not over crowd the pan ⠀
🔑start with hot skillet⠀
🔑wait to stir 3-4 min at first ⠀

I hope that helps! If you have been too scared to try or frustrated by gloppy gnocchi, try this method! ⠀
